Entry #10 The American Dream

It's not that we're broken, It's not that we have some troubled past. We all have the same opportunities, the same trials and discorded family. But, we choose to live a life separate from the hypocrisy; the American Dream. We weren't born for some "greater good" White picket fence, and a white washed job. It's not about building a future for yourself. We can only make a mark beneath our steps and we are the ones who are divided. We are those who are forgotten, but we are those who made the most of where we could. So stop creating this stigma that we our anything less than where you are because if handed all the riches of our land, your life would feel no more meaningful than ours.

Since I've spent most of this blog talking about music, I really just wanted to share a bunch of different types of musicals with you. I know a lot of people find musicals pretty boring, but I feel like those people just haven't found the right one to watch. I mean there's a musical for everything. Entry #11 You blogged what now?

This journey as a blogger has definitely, well been a journey. I absolutely hated the idea of this thing sitting in class that day in January. I thought I had finally won and was done with it in March and then comes the first day of English 102 and HAH! SURPRISE! You have to do it again! (insert non-verbal maniacal laugh) I pretty much died at the fact that I'd have to come up with 5 more topics for blogs. I mean the last entry I had for last semester was just a poem I had written during some recent midnight thoughts.     If you have ever seen Star Wars then you are one of the lucky ones to listen to the epic works of John Williams. The infamous song, "Imperial March" has to be one of the most influential and widely known pieces in the world. However, did you know that this legendary song was inspired by music written in the 19th century?     Richard Wagner was born in Leipzig, Germany in 1813.
